Frequently Asked Questions

Appointment Settings

What are “spaces” in appointments?

Spaces mean how many patients a doctor will check in a given time slot. For example, if the doctor has a time slot from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and spaces are set to 3, the doctor will check 3 patients within that hour.

How do I add a new location for appointments?

Go to Doctor Dashboard > Appointment Setting. Search for available hospitals or locations, select one, then fill in the start time, end time, appointment intervals, and other details.

What are appointment intervals?

Appointment intervals refer to the time gap between two consecutive appointments. For example, if you set a 15-minute interval, each patient will be scheduled 15 minutes apart.

What is appointment duration?

Appointment duration is how long each consultation lasts. For example, if you choose 20 minutes, each patient’s appointment will be blocked for 20 minutes within the schedule.

Can I offer services on specific days only?

Yes. You can select specific days of the week (Mon–Sun) when you are available to offer services while setting up your appointment schedule.

Can I assign multiple appointment spaces?

Yes. You can assign 1, 2, or more spaces depending on how many patients you can consult within a single time slot.

How do patients know which services I provide?

When setting up the appointment, select the relevant services (e.g., Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Medical Services, Hospice Medicine, Internal/Critical Medicine). These will be visible to patients.

Can I edit my appointment settings later?

Yes. You can always return to the Appointment Setting section to edit locations, timings, services, or spaces at any time.

Do I need to send a request to the hospital or clinic?

Yes. After completing the appointment setup, a request is sent to the hospital or clinic for approval before the schedule becomes active.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

It is recommended to reschedule or cancel in advance. Patients will be notified automatically if the platform supports notifications.
